The American Veterans Ball

A Shared Community Investment

The GOAL of the American Veterans Ball is to CONNECT our Past and Present Military professionals to the Future leaders of America, while keeping them true to the Red, White, & Blue. The AVB was created to provide “ALL” veterans of the “Armed Forces” with the opportunity to participate in an annual service ball similar to our active service components. The most common denominator we discovered, was that once veterans transitioned out of their respective branch of service, there was an immediate disconnection with such type of traditional and customary event of shared comradeship which we’ve always treasured. Despite of this disconnection, we still live out the values and way of life instilled in us as active leaders in our communities, workplace, and in every good endeavor in our lives. The AVB will also serve out its MISSION by creating a pathway that will reignite, connect with, and maintain our patriotism with our fellow brothers and sisters’ veterans through this unique event for years to come. Please join us in celebration in saluting and honoring our past, present, and future veterans. The AVB is open to “ALL” veterans (active, reserves, separated, or retired), their guest, civilian supporting arms, and the general public. We yield for your consideration in JOINING us and our VISION of fellowship as a Shared Community Investment. Proceeds to support Veterans, Veteran Organizations, Children of Fallen Service Members, Summer Youth Camps, JROTC programs, Inspiring Educational Institutions, Programs for Children of Service Veterans, and Scholarships. History

The Birth of the American Veterans Ball

The birth of the American Veterans Ball was ignited by a group of retired and separated armed forces service veterans in Stafford, VA.

The American Veterans Ball (AVB) was designed to provide veterans of “ALL” the Armed Forces the opportunity to participate in a customary annual event comparable to those of our active service components.

The American Veterans Ball was created on (Veterans Day) November 11, 2014.

The American Veterans Ball was birth at a local restaurant called Applebees located in Stafford, VA while the core group enjoyed a free meal and swapped memorable experiences on Veterans Day in recognition of their patriotism and service to their country.

The most common denominator that we’ve discovered among transitioned veterans was that once they were discharged out of their respective branches they experienced an immediate disconnection to these types of traditional events. Yet, despite of this disconnection many veterans still find themselves living out their core values with purpose as civilians while serving their communities and contributing to the greater good as a way of life. Whether in or out of the uniform, we believe that an event such as the AVB, creates that pathway to reignite, connect with, and maintain our patriotism with our fellow brothers and sisters through this unique event for years to come. As LEADERS we were taught to identify gaps, fill the void, bridge the gap, AND accomplish the mission. “SO WE DID.” Its result, the birth of the American Veterans Ball. SOW, REAP, GROW.
