We proud to announce that Ms. Amanda Talbert has taken on the role as the Chief of Staff for the American Veterans Ball (AVB). She brings an abundance of project management, organizational experience, oversight, and leadership skill-sets that will further compliment our existing leadership structure as we continue to expand our mission, vision, goals, and the experience we gift to our attendees. “I look forward to being a part of the transformation of the American Veteran’s Ball event so that it can be impactful to the lives of veterans and our youth around the country!” said Talbert.

A native of Virginia, Amanda Talbert manages community partnerships throughout the Greater Washington region from Virginia to Pennsylvania.  She also serves on multiple non-profit boards such as the Greater Washington Urban League, Rappahannock United Way, Fredericksburg Regional Alliance and the Cal Ripken Jr. Foundation just to name a few.    

Amanda is the Public Affairs Coordinator for GEICO’s mid-Atlantic territory. She provides leadership for various initiatives within the company and community.  Additionally, she fulfills GEICO’s goals as a corporate community citizen making significant contributions to worthwhile charitable organizations while also impacting national philanthropic strategies undertaken by the Company. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
