The American Veterans Ball is PROUD to announce that Mrs. Stormy Dover will be joining our AVB2023 lineup. She is the reigning All-American Royal Queen. She served in the US Army for twenty years as a Radiology Specialist, Army Recruiter, and rounding out her career as a First Sergeant. She earned numerous awards throughout her career including the Army Recruiting Ring in two years, two NCO of the Year awards, the Outstanding Volunteer Service Award, and multiple Meritorious Service Medals She continues to serve her country as an Access Maintenance Manager and Workflow Analyst at Fort Belvoir Community Hospital.
Stormy began competing in pageants as a teenager and has held various titles throughout the past thirty years. She enjoys competing in competitions that continue the spirit of family and camaraderie that was felt in the military. As All American & Mrs. All American Royal Queen she has the opportunity to continue to support her brothers and sisters in arms through their national platform, Operation We Care, and share with communities how the smallest gestures of kindness lift the morale of service members and first responders worldwide.
Stormy devotes her time to advocating for Childhood Cancer Awareness, collecting items needed for Operation We Care packages, supporting her sister queens in various Relay For Life events, and supporting Make a Wish events. She also serves as the chapter President for Northern Virginia
Alumna Chapter of Chi Omega and as an advisor for the active chapter of Chi Omega at George Mason University. She is a lifetime member of the VFW Auxillary. She also enjoys relaxing with a good book, crafting, and standing on the sidelines screaming for the Marietta College Pioneers Women’s Rowing team (Marietta, OH).
Stormy resides in Lorton with her amazing husband, Terry (retired US Army Warrant Officer),, two of their six adult children, and their two rescue dogs.
